In 1998 the franchise was sponsered by the "Green Oaks Citizen's Club", and hence known as the "Green Oaks". In their earlier years (1977 thru 1986) they were the "Boston Redsox" of touch football.

1998 marked their first Champonship game appearance. They were playing with house money to be there. They had beaten the undefeated first place team "Just Shutup and Play" and the second place team "Knights" to get to this championship round. Their opponent in this Championship game would be the 6th place Buddaz (who had beaten the 3rd and 4th place teams). We had already seen "the catch" by Reggie in the first game. And a 2 point extra point conversion had won the 2nd round. They say there were angels in the backfield, but non showed up to the championship game. The Defense gave up six scores, and the offense failed to convert 4 red zone chances. There were also at least 10 dropped balls, and 4 interceptions. It is therefore the reason we present only pre game and halftime photographs.
